How do I join the Domo User Group Slack?
Use datacrew.space/slack/join. It's free and open to anyone who works with Domo — no approval step, no Domo licence required, and no invite code to chase down. That address stays valid even when the underlying Slack invite is regenerated, which is why it's the one worth bookmarking or sharing.
Is this affiliated with Domo, Inc.?
No. It's independent and practitioner-run — not operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Domo, Inc. Nobody here can escalate your support ticket, see your instance, or commit to a roadmap. For anything official, go to Domo directly. The upside of being unofficial is that people say what they actually think.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Free to join, free to use, no paid tier.
Who's actually in there?
Engineers, analysts, and architects who work in Domo daily — including people running it in production at Fortune 500 scale. Some of the most useful members are ones you'd recognise by handle long before you'd recognise the face.
What kinds of questions get answered?
Beast Modes, Magic ETL and dataflows, App Studio and DDX Bricks, the platform APIs, governance and PDP, Workflows, and increasingly AI tooling around Domo. Concrete questions with context get the best answers — the room skews practitioner, so 'here's what I tried and what broke' goes further than 'does anyone know Domo?'.
Is it a good place to ask if I'm brand new to Domo?
Yes. A question that looks obvious to someone with ten years in the platform wasn't obvious to them once either. Anonymise anything sensitive before you paste it — assume everything posted is public.
