From Vendor Consultant to Staff Engineer to Freelance Consultant.
I didn't drink the Kool-Aid immediately. When I started as a Domo Technical Consultant, it took a while. But once I understood the time to value — and how Domo's integrated stack actually empowers business teams to solve their own problems — I was hooked.
I spent a few years freelancing, picking up engagements across the UK, USA, and Canada, before going in-house at a Fortune 500 as Staff Analytics Engineer. Four years leading the Center of Excellence for a Domo PaaS deployment across 100+ departmental installations and 2,500+ active users. Within two years it had eclipsed every other BI product in monthly active users.
Now I'm back to freelancing — and I bring all of it with me. The implementation experience, the enterprise architecture, and the hard-won knowledge of what it actually takes to get adoption inside a large organization.

ai-consultingAI Consulting Is Just Management Consulting in Plan Mode
My nephews' Python tutorial turned into my girlfriend's smart birdbath — and accidentally became a metaphor for AI consulting. Why value is drifting out of implementation and into discovery, and what 'plan mode' has to do with it.

domoDownstream Lineage in Domo: Why It Matters and How We Made It Programmable
After 9 months of use, our Snowflake engineers declared Domo 'very expensive' — multiple queries pulling the same fact tables, no way to know what could be consolidated. Here's why lineage is table stakes, how we wired the APIs, and why the technical exercise is only the beginning.
